WE ARE COMMITTED TO YOUR HEALTH
As we return to work in the time of COVID-19, we want to assure our customers of our continued commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and that we are taking additional measures to protect our clients and crew from the spread of the novel coronavirus.
We’ve been following trusted online resources like the CDC and speaking with other pros in our industry to ensure that our new protocols for health and hygiene allow for a productive shoot that is also safe, healthy and comfortable for our team and our clients.
WE RELY ON TRUSTED SOURCES
We are following the latest recommendations from the Center for Disease Control along with adhering to local guidelines from the Illinois Department of Public Health in order to determine the safest approach for each photoshoot.
TAKING CARE OF OUR CREW
The personal health of our crew is at the top of our priority list. Before our arrival to your location, our team will verify their good health through our questionnaire and will have their temperature taken to ensure all of our safety. No one with Covid-19 symptoms nor anyone who has been recently exposed to the virus will be allowed to participate in the photo shoot.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
We will conduct routing cleaning and disinfecting of any common areas used during our photoshoot, before, during and after the session. This including door handles, tables and posing stools.
PPE IS REQUIRED
Everyone on set will be required to wear a mask except for the person being photographed while they are being photographed. We’ll also be washing our hands regularly and will have plenty of alcohol-based hand sanitizer for everyone.
No one is allowed within 6 feet of of another person while they are not wearing a mask. This includes any one adjusting clothing or lighting. All of those physical adjustments will be made before the subjects’ mask is removed. We will also be using no-touch posing methods.
Because the Illinois department of public health says people shall “wear face coverings over their nose and mouth when within 6-ft. of others” and “Social distance of at least 6-ft. should be maintained between non-household individuals” this makes it impossible to provide make-up services or allow for images to be taken of two or more people who reside in different households.
LET’S ALL CONSIDER THIS
We are all new to this. There are going to be some substantial changes which affect each and every one of us.
It’s critical for us to evaluate our old practices in order to make sure that we create a healthy, calm and productive session from beginning to end.
We are learning and planning and then learning some more. Going forward, we’ll all need to show some flexibility and compassion as we get through this together.
WE’RE READY TO MAKE MORE PRETTY PICTURES
We value your input and feedback as we make our way through this new way of coordinating our photo shoots. We may need to move a little slower to incorporate the new safety procedures but know we are committed to making those awesome images that capture the best of your brand!
We’d love it if you let us know your thoughts, any concerns or additions you think we should consider. We’ll also take your recipes, too.
