Admittedly, I think I am pretty lucky. Having a job that is also my passion, where there is room to evolve, experiment and be consistently challenged while capturing the stories behind some incredibly interesting people, has been quite the experience. Over the last 15 years, I have had the chance to travel the country and work on a variety of assignments ranging from executive head shots and corporate lifestyle photography to environmental portraits and event coverage for trade shows and conventions.
Needless to say, each shoot brings with it a different challenge. So, I make it my goal to strategically collaborate with each client, connect with my subjects, spot opportunities quickly, meet the tightest of deadlines and make even the most camera-shy feel like rockstars. Consistently focusing on the details while appreciating the bigger picture allows me to produce compelling imagery while providing exceptional service. Of course it helps that I always play nice and make a stellar cup of coffee. So, if you’re wondering if I’m up for shooting from a cherry picker hundreds of feet over the convention floor at McCormick Place or am up for traveling non-stop to follow your Execs as they cross the country making site visits and meeting employees, I’m in.
When I’m not behind the camera, a few other life essentials that make my life go round include my four legged son Charlie and my partner who are both nothing but joy, attempting to make tofu taste like something other than tofu, searching for Dionne Warwick on Vinyl, and road trips in pursuit of the best views the country has to offer.
Thanks for stopping by! I’d love to hear from you so when it’s time to start planning the next photography project, please get in touch!
